Teesside UK, ship birthing quay Infrastructure rebuild and strengthening with shipping channel dredging for offshore jacket and topside loading.
Challenge for the project was to complete the early infrastructure and major civil works to support the offshore topside and jacket decommissioning.
Project entailed civil and structural engineering assessment, detailed design of the 500m of existing quay facilities. Construction management to include heavy sheet and large diameter driven piles and reinstatement of 500m of reinforced concrete quay facility landing to meet current industry loading criteria.
Estuary dredging to reduce sea bed levels more than 2m for major ship birthing, turning and loading operations to achieve min 1m freeboard. Project successfully delivered with all authority stakeholders and coastal harbour controls
Scope included full construction planning and contract management supervision and safety management of construction and marine works within tidal windows to meet a season offshore campaign.
